Spicy Noodle Soup at Tofoo Com Chay (“Ben’s”) in San Jose. Absolutely THE BEST vegetarian noodle soup EVER.
Sounds awesome, Alexis! Would be a great addition to the top 25 veggie dishes list.
You are making me miss the Bay Area!! MMMM falafels. And milk shakes. And scallion pancakes. Yum yum.

Falafel Drive In is the bomb! I recall a super tasty SJ burger joint kind of across from the Pink Poodle–am I dating myself?–that was so, so good, too.
I don’t know of that one! But that doesn’t mean you’re dating yourself. Assuming it’s gone now?
I surely hope not! I think it is called Juicy Burger down on Blossom Hill Rd.
